PRODUCE CLERK – Job Summary

Full & Part Time: Several Positions Available

This posting is for our soon-to-open Seattle-MLK Store location: 6038 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. Seattle 98118

This position is responsible fulfill produce needs of the customers by ensuring a great selection of fresh, quality produce are available at all times, trimmed and displayed properly. Clerks also provide customer service as needed, as well as maintain cleanliness of the store.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Prior retail experience and knowledge of Asian produce is preferred, but not required.
Strong customer service aptitude desired
Flexible scheduling with weekends & Holidays availability
Able to work independently, as well as with teamwork
Comfortable using knives
Basic English communication skills
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to stand for long stretches of time
Willing to learn about products, product handling, and customer service skills

Compensation:

Starting Hourly Rate: $21.30
